Our Check-In service ensures the formal hand-over of the property at the start of the tenancy and safeguards the interests of letting agents, landlords and tenants alike.

What the Check-In service Includes

  • We meet the tenant at the rental property, on or before the tenancy start date.
  • We review the pre-prepared Inventory Report with the tenant, explaining condition, contents, fixture/fittings and key items.
  • Where accessible, we take and agree meter readings with the tenant and record them.
  • We obtain the tenant’s signature to confirm they have reviewed the condition and contents.
  • If required, we list and hand over the property’s keys and record any issued sets.

  4. We issue a signed version of the Check-In documentation to the landlord/letting agent and the tenant (as required).
