Interim Reports
An Interim Report is a mid-tenancy inspection that provides an updated record of the property’s condition. It is useful for longer tenancies, properties vulnerable to wear, or where landlords or agents require monitoring during the tenancy term.
The Interim Report compares the property’s current condition to the Inventory baseline, noting any changes, maintenance issues, or areas requiring attention.
What an Interim Report Includes
- Room-by-room condition check
- Notes on any changes since the start of the tenancy
- Photographs of any areas of concern
- Observations on cleanliness, damage, or required maintenance
- Optional follow-up recommendations for landlords or agents
Why Request an Interim Report?
- Helps identify maintenance issues before they develop further
- Provides reassurance for landlords and agents during longer tenancies
- Encourages property care and responsibility
- Reduces the risk of end-of-tenancy disagreements
